Lynette Seow is a distinguished tech innovator and entrepreneur renowned for her leadership in leveraging technology for societal impact and business growth. With a strong background in technology consulting having been in the AI & IoT practice at IBM, she brings a wealth of expertise to her current role as Co-founder and COO of Safe Space, a digital mental health startup based in Singapore. Lynette is an advocate for mental wellness for marginalized communities, and aims to expand the accessibility of quality mental healthcare to all. Lynette holds a Master of Technology from the NUS and a Master of Business Administration from MIT.
Dr. Bernard Ng earned his Doctor of Medicine from the National University of Malaysia and later transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in medical affairs, patient safety, and R&D. He holds an MBA from the University of Melbourne and is an advocate of Clayton Christensen’s Disruptive Strategy model. He completed a digital transformation course at IMD, Lausanne.
With extensive leadership experience across the US, Europe, and Asia, Dr. Ng has held senior roles including Chief Medical Officer at Bayer Consumer Healthcare. Currently, he is CEO and board member of Meta Health Ltd.
Additionally, he lectures at King’s College London, mentors future industry leaders, and is passionate about mental health and societal well-being.
Brendan Yap boasts over 12 years of experience in finance and corporate advisory. He is the Group Head of Strategic Planning and Investor Relations at Halcyon Agri Corporation Ltd, an SGX-listed natural rubber company.
Beyond his professional life, Brendan dedicates time to social and community causes. He is the Vice Chair of the Fernvale Zone C Residents Network and a member of the Community Club Management Committee of Fernvale.
A graduate of the University of Malaya with a degree in accountancy, Brendan is also a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
Ben is the CEO of ChapmanCG, a global executive search firm focused on the HR profession, supporting clients across multiple industries. Ben is also an angel investor and executive coach.
As an active Board Member of The Safe Space foundation he brings his personal passion for mental health access and education plus previous experience as a not-for-profit board member.
Diane has contributed significantly to NUS's growth, including its corporatisation, and the establishment of the Duke-NUS Medical School and Yale-NUS College.
Diane joined the National University of Singapore (NUS) as General Counsel in 2004, working in the Office of the President. She established the Office of Legal Affairs in 2005 and became its first Head.
In 2018, she was appointed Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel She received the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2021 and a Certificate of Special Recognition at the 2022 Singapore Chief Legal Officer Awards. Diane, an NUS alumna,was called to the Singapore Bar in 1989.
